Swagbucks Black Friday Gift Card Blowout

Swagbucks is getting in on the Black Friday madness by offering discounted gift cards each day from Friday, November 27, 2009 up until January 1, 2010. Swagbucks will not announce which gift cards will be the blowout cards of the day, so Swagsters should be on the hunt.

To participate you must be a Swagbucks user. If you aren't currently using Swagbucks you are missing out on an easy way to get free gift cards for places such as Starbucks, Amazon.com, Target and more. You can also get other "Swag" such as clothing, collectibles, entries into contests and other great stuff.

Using Swagbucks is easy. All you do is go through them to do your searches online. (So essentially, you're getting free stuff to do something you would do anyway!) This is how it works:

• Sign up to be a Swagbucks member
• Search the web by going through the Swagbucks website (or install the Swagbucks toolbar for easy access)
• "Swag Bucks" are periodically awarded to you when you search
• Accumulate Swag Bucks and redeem them for "prizes" such as the gift cards and other "Swag" mentioned above

There are other ways to earn Swag Bucks too. You can invite your friends to join, shop in the Swagbucks Shop & Earn Mall, trade in your used cell phones and other electronic items, participate in the Swag Code hunts and other promotions.

It took me a little while to get used to the idea of using Swagbucks, but once I started using it as my main search engine source I found this to be a great way to get gift cards. I usually redeem my Swag Bucks for Amazon.com gift cards, which currently only cost 45 Swag Bucks for a $5 card. (Most people earn on average 2-3 Swag Bucks per day just for searching the web as they normally would, so you can see how quickly these can add up.) Free $10 Gift Certificates from Restaurant.com starting Nov. 26

Restaurant.com is offering free $10 Gift Certificates starting Nov. 26, as part of their "Feed It Forward" program. People will be able to give $10 Restaurant.com gift certificates through a dedicated "giving" website. Overall, Restaurant.com will share $30 million in combined gift certificate value through the length of this initiative, or until the total amount is shared.

To send a gift, givers get to enter their name and email address, as well as a valid name and email address for each person they wish to give to. People can share a brief story, a note of endearment or gratitude for why they are giving. The site will feature some of these messages of appreciation on the home page. People who receive a free $10 gift certificate will be given the opportunity to join in the giving effort and to Feed It Forward as well.

Givers can "give" up to 3, $10 gift certificates per day starting Nov. 26 and ending Dec. 25. More information about the program can be found on the Restaurant.com Feed It Forward web page.

As with all Restaurant.com gift certificates, restrictions vary with each restaurant and range from a minimum purchase amount to specific days when the gift certificate is valid. See the terms and conditions for certificate use provided with each offer.

• Amazon.com Black Friday Deals Week - All week long Amazon will offer items on sale in limited supplies. New items are added throughout the day so keep checking back.
• Walmart.com Amazing Online Specials - Rumor has it that many of the sale prices available currently online match those of the upcoming Walmart Black Friday sale that will be offered in the stores. One of these deals is the Samsung 50'' 720p Plasma HDTV being offered online for $698.

Amazon is also currently advertising that if you order this magazine by November 30th an extra $5 off will apply automatically at checkout. The $5 price is valid until Saturday, November 28, 2009, so with the discount it should be free. (Is it a typo? Not sure, but even at $5 this subscription is a steal.)
