Free Stuff for Veterans and Military on Veteran's Day 2010

  • 24 Hour Fitness: All Veterans, active duty & reserve military can work out for free through November 14, 2010.
  • Applebee’s: Veterans and active duty military can get a free entree from a special menu on Thursday, November 11th. Beverages and gratuity not included.
  • Chili’s: Veterans and active duty military eat free with proof of military service from a special menu on November 11th.
  • Famous Daves: Famous Dave's salutes Veterans and Active Military Personnel through offering a number of specials from $15 off to FREE Meals to 10% off entire checks. Please call the specific location to confirm the promotion
  • Golden Corral: Veterans, retired, active duty military, or those serving in the National Guard or Reserves can enjoy a free Thank You Dinner in Monday, November 15th.
  • Hooters: Veterans and active duty military can eat free from a special menu (up to an $8.49 value) all day Thursdsay, November 11th.
  • National Parks: Fee-free entrance at more than 100 national parks on Thursday, November 11th.
  • Original Roadhouse Grill: Veterans and active duty military can get a free meal up to $20 value on Nov. 11. Check to see if your local Roadhouse Grill is participating.
  • Outback Steakhouse: Veterans and active duty military can get a free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage (one non-alcoholic drink) on Thursday, November 11th.
  • Sam’s Club: Veterans in need of mobility assistance can receive a free Hugo cane on November 11th and 12th (no Sam’s Club membership is required).
  • Uno Chicago Grill: Veterans and active duty military can get a free individual pizza or entree with the purchase of an entree or pizza of equal or greater price.

Free stuff for Veterans and Military Personnel in honor of Veteran's Day:


Free entree at McCormick & Schmick's for Veterans 11/08/09. Veterans will be able to choose a complimentary lunch or dinner entree from a special menu.

Veterans and Active Duty Military Eat Free at Applebee's on Veteran's Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009. Available during business hours on November 11, 2009 at participating Applebee’s only. Dine-in from limited menu only. Beverages and gratuity not included. Veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service. Visit the Applebee's restaurant website to find a location near you.

Free Meal at Golden Corral Restaurants Nov. 16, 2009 for Active Military and Veterans.
Military Appreciation Monday. Golden Corral's 9th annual Military Appreciation Monday dinner will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009, from 5 to 9 pm in all Golden Corral restaurants nationwide.The free dinner meal is a special "thank you tribute" to any person who has ever served in the United States Military. If you are a veteran, retired, currently serving, in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited to join us for Golden Corral's Military Appreciation Monday dinner.


Free Entree or Individual Pizza with an Entree or Pizza Purchase at Uno's Chigago Grill. Uno Chicago Grill would like to thank those men and women who have risked their lives in service to our country. This Veteran's Day, Uno invites all members of the military, both veterans and active duty, to enjoy a free entree or individual pizza with the purchase of an entree or pizza of equal or greater value. No coupon is necessary. Veterans or active military can either show up in
uniform, or with a picture of themselves in uniform, or with a military or veteran's ID.



Free Breakfast for All Veterans at Hy-Vee Stores. Hy-Vee will honor America's vets on Veterans Day with a free breakfast from 7 until 11a.m. at all Hy-Vee supermarkets with in-store dining services in appreciation of their service to the country. The buffet is complimentary for veterans, but open to others at a small cost. All community members are encouraged to stop by and express their gratitude to their local veterans.

Free Krispy Kreme Doughnut for Veterans and Military Personnel on Veteran's Day. This year, Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation is honoring America's service men and women on Veteran's
Day by giving away free doughnuts to all veterans and active military personnel. Veterans and active military personnel are invited to visit any participating U.S. Krispy Kreme store on Veteran's Day, November 11, and enjoy one free doughnut of any variety. Free Bloomin' Onion and Beverage at Outback Steackhouse for all Veterans and Active Duty Military on Veteran's Day, Nov. 11, 2009. Just show proof or military service. At participating Outback Steakhouse locations.

Free Park Admission at Knott's Berry Farm through Nov. 26, 2009 for Military. Knott's Berry Farm pays tribute to past and present U.S. armed forces personnel during Veteran's Month with free park admission for them and a guest November 1-26 only. Up to six additional tickets can be purchased for only $15 each. Military ID or DD214 presented with a photo ID required for discount.

Free Canes for Veterans at Sam's Club. On Nov. 11, 2009, Sam's Club stores nationwide will be giving away 25,000 Hugo canes free of charge to U.S. Military Veterans in need of mobility assistance. Limited quantities per club. While supplies last. Sam's Club membership is not required. Proof of military service may be required. Visit the Sam's Club website to find a store near you.

Free Admission on Veteran's Day from National Parks Service. To honor America’s service men and women, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar has announced that areas managed by the department will not charge entrance fees on Wednesday, November 11th. Visitors to public recreation lands managed by the National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation are invited to take a day to honor and reflect on what our service men and women have done to maintain our freedom and keep peace around the world. All visitors are invited to enjoy this fee free day and take time out on this national holiday to remember our service men and women who are currently serving overseas in harm's way. The Department of Agriculture also is waiving entrance fees at its national forests.
